Talking to Campaign India, Raj said, “This is the first time that someone from an independent agency in India is selected to be a part of the jury and I am delighted at the honour. Outdoor is a category that typically sees the largest number of entries at Cannes, and I am looking forward to the challenge. The task will be to identify work that is not a translation of the original print campaign into the outdoor medium and, instead, makes innovative use of the medium.”
Other Indians selected to be a part of the Cannes Lions jury till date include Saatchi’s Ramanuj Shastry and Leo Burnett’s KV Sridhar.
The 57th Cannes Lions Advertising festival is set to take place from June 20 to 26, this year.
