Sandeep Das, an adlander with 18 years of experience, has announced the launch of a multi-disciplinary agency called ‘G.O.D’ (Gaana Om Design) in Kolkata.

Das was a consultant for the last eight years, prior to which he had stints with Reprise Media, Ogilvy, Contract and Dentsu.

He labels the agency as one with a conscience which keeps in mind 'selfless service’ not just to the environment but to society as a whole.

Das has partnered with Souren Shee for the agency which has divisions called Craniac (advertising and media focus), Tintin (research, consulting and strategy) and Godzbazaar (an online marketplace for all earth-friendly and indigenous products).

He has also launched Sandeepani Gurukul through which he looks to provide education in unconventional media, including CAD, animation, painting, films, music, dance events and other creative activities like pottery and sculpture.

Das said, “One of the intentions of GOD is to make the world a better place to live in, and our diverse expertise will go towards educating, engaging and employing individuals from the CEO to a potter or a homemaker. The aim is to give them a better life and to also give back to the environment, in our effective way."

Shee added, “The rat race has taught us hard lessons which have led us to form GOD, a platform which will eventually promote an apolitical, secular and Vedantic lifestyle where everything from music, theatre to art played an important role in our lives. Research and marketing of earth-friendly products for every purpose will bring us back on track, in terms of conserving the environment, just as the age-old Vedas and also the recent pandemic has taught us.”
