Santosh Padhi on executive jury for New York Festivals

Taproot India's Santosh Padhi (Paddy) has been appointed on the executive jury for the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards 2011. Organisers have announced the names of other jury members as well. Donald Gunn, founder, The Gunn Report, will moderate the executive jury.

Instead of an online judging process, all the jury members will convene in New York from May 1 to 5, 2011 to select the 2011 trophy winners from the finalist winners decided by NYF‘s grand jury. The jury has some of the greatest names from our community, and I am looking forward to spend some quality time with them and have a great learning experience."

The 2011 executive jury consists of 40 chief creative officers. Some of the other executive jury members announced include: Matthew Bull, chief creative officer, Lowe Worldwide, Peter Favat, chief creative officer, Arnold Worldwide, Tony Granger, global chief creative officer, Y&R, Amir Kassaei, chief creative officer, DDB, James McGrath, creative chairman, Clemenger BBDO, Peter Nicholson, chief creative officer, JWT, Robert Rasmussen, chief creative officer, Tribal DDB, Rob Reilly, worldwide chief creative officer, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Rob Sherlock, chief creative officer, DraftFCB, Alexander Schill, global chief creative officer, Partner, Serviceplan Group, and Stephane Xiberras, president & executive creative director, BETC Euro RSCG. Additional executive jury members will be announced soon.

The three-day festival will include creative seminars, including one by Keith Reinhard, chairman emeritus, Omnicom, winners' exhibits, screenings, and two award shows taking place on Wednesday, May 4, and on Thursday, May 5, 2011.
