Saurabh Kanwar, former VP-content and communication for Channel [V] will join Silicon-valley based start-up Nex Sales as partner.

Kanwar will continue to be based in Mumbai, where Nex Sales has an office with over 40 employees.

Nex Sales operates in the new media space in the domain of market research, lead generation, database building, market intelligence and e-mail marketing, amongst other B2B services.

With this, Kanwar joins his friend Milap Shah, CEO and co-founder of Nex Sales in servicing their US-based clients. "The low-hanging fruit is our client base is in the US, where Nex Sales works with companies in the IT, insurance and consulting space. I've been keen on entering the new media space for a while and my new assignment will allow me to do that," Kanwar told Campaign India on his appointment.

Prior to this, Kanwar was with Channel [V] for over three years. Earlier to that, he was head of marketing at Radio City, head of sponsorship marketing at Walt Disney Television and associate director, marketing at MTV Networks.
