Shastri moves to R K Swamy from MEC

Tejal Shastri joins Media Direction

R K Swamy Media Group has appointed Tejal Shastri to the position of senior media director, Media Direction. She comes to R K Swamy from MEC. She has over 13 years experience in media management with core strength in strategic planning and client management.

Commenting on her appointment, Chintamani Rao, president, R K Swamy Media Group, said, “We are delighted to welcome Tejal on board. She will work on some of our key accounts like Siemens and Rasna, reporting to K. Satyanarayana, vice president. She has sound experience in Planning, and we look forward to her contribution on our clients’ business.”

On her new assignment, Shastri, added, “I am excited to join a media company that strongly believes in challenging conventional thinking and providing comprehensive solutions to its clients. I have been assigned a varied portfolio that will give me great opportunity to push the envelope.”

After post-graduate studies in Media Planning at KC College of Management Studies, Shastri has in the past worked with Euro RSCG, Carat and the erstwhile Zenith.
