Weekend Fun: IPL action and the Barclays Premier League reaches its climax
Sports fans have an option of beating the heat this weekend by staying indoors and catching some action on TV.
 
The IPL offers five games to watch this weekend. It starts off later tonight with Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on the in-form Kings XI Punjab at 2000 hrs.
 
On Saturday, Delhi Daredevils host the Sunrisers Hyderabad at 1600 hrs, followed by Mumbai Indians' home game against the Chennai Super Kings at 2000 hrs. 
 
Sunday sees KXIP in action again as they play Kolkata Knight Riders at 1600 hrs at Cuttack. The final game of the weekend will see the Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Rajasthan Royals at 2000 hrs. All the games are on Sony Six and Sony Max.
 
In football, there's the final weekend of the Barclays Premier League to look forward to. 
 
As it is the final weekend of the season, all the games' kick off will happen at the same time (1930 hours).
 
Manchester City go into the weekend as favourites for the title, as the 2011-12 champions just require a draw against West Ham United. Watch this game on Star Sports 1.
 
If Manchester City slip up and lose to West Ham, Liverpool could come into contention for the title. Watch their game against Newcastle United on Star Sports 4. 
 
Other games to be played over the weekend: Cardiff City vs Chelsea (Star Sports 2); Southampton vs Manchester United (Star Sports 3); Norwich City vs Arsenal (Star Sports HD1) and Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa (Star Sports HD2).
 
Formula 1 fans have the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya to look follow. Qualifying from Barcelona begins at 1720 hrs on Saturday, with the race itself from 1730 hrs on Sunday. Star Sports 4 and HD2 will be telecasting the race.
