Here are two options for food-lovers

Your weekend reading list

Food-lovers have a couple of things to look forward to this weekend.

The first is the launch of BBC GoodFood India, published by Worldwide Media. Priced at Rs 100, it will be available in newsstands across the country from today 21 October 2011. Worldwide Media says the magazine is aimed at everyday chefs, recreational chefs, urbane, well-travelled food enthusiasts, and restaurant junkies.

The second is the premiere of the second season of MasterChef India on Star Plus on 22 October, 9pm. This time around, it's hosted by Michelin-starred Indian chef Vikas Khanna (he's based out of New York). Khanna's website offers a range of recipes, which you could check out here. Star Plus' MasterChef site also offers recipes which can be read here.
