ZenithOptimedia lands Usha International’s media brief

Usha International has handed over its media duties to ZenithOptimedia following a two-way pitch, which saw the Publicis-owned agency snaring the account from the incumbent Lodestar Universal.

The account size is estimated to be Rs 30 crore, mostly to be spent on mass media.

Said Satyajit Sen, managing director, North & East, ZenithOptimedia, “ZO's strategic approach and deep understanding of client issues helped us clinch the business from the incumbent agency. Usha was coming back in media after a long hiatus and they needed a fresh perspective. The objective was to create back the stature and preference for this very prestigious brand in India. ZO looked at an array of media possibilities and how they dovetailed in delivering the strategic task.”
