MPL Sports Foundation to become principal partner for Indian Olympic Association
 
MPL Sports Foundation has become the principal partner of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). Through this association, the foundation will execute principal partner duties for the Indian contingent, at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. MPL Sports was also named the official kit partner for the Indian contingents for both the 2022 events.
 
Manorama Infosolutions assigns Prose Integrated with PR and digital duties
 
Manorama Infosolutions has appointed Prose Integrated as its PR and digital agency. According to the mandate, the agency will help the company with its positioning, drive business building conversations and build Manorama’s leadership team. It will also deploy new-age automation tools for MIS and sentiment analytics on the project.
 
Numi Paris gets Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul as brand ambassadors 
 
Numi Paris, a French eyewear brand, recently launched in India has announced actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul as brand ambassadors. Numi Paris has also pledged to support the L V Prasad Eye Institute with every purchase of a pair of Numi's.
 
Tiger Shroff to be face of ESPL
 
Tiger Shroff has been named as brand ambassador of the Esports Premier League. ESPL kicks off on 16 June. The league will is looking to leverage Shroff's popularity and strong influence on the dynamic millennials and Gen-Z. 
 
Intelliquo Integrated Communications wins the PR mandate for Keventers and YogaBar
 
Intelliquo Integrated Communications has won the PR mandate for YogaBar and Keventers. The agency will work on the brands' corporate reputation and awareness to amplifying the visibility, strategic communication guidance, public relations and overall media relations. It will also be incharge of developing effective stakeholder engagement strategies, brand positioning and managing external communications.
 
Palak Kohli appointed 'Myprotein athlete'
 
Myprotein has appointed 18-year-old Palak Kohli, the youngest para-badminton player in the world to ever qualify for the Tokyo Paralympics 2021, as a 'Myprotein athlete'. Kohli is scheduled to participate in two events at the Tokyo Paralympics. 
 
Pitchfork Partners to handle communication strategies for Rubix Data Sciences
 
Rubix Data Sciences has appointed Pitchfork Partners Strategic Consulting LLP as advisor for its communication strategies. The agency will be responsible for spearheading strategic communication for the brand through insight-based analytics, to support growth and strengthen its brand narrative.
 
Audi and Virat Kohli extend partnership
 
Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian men's cricket team, and Audi India have extended their association. Kohli has been associated as a 'friend of Audi India' since 2015. His continued alliance with the Audi brand includes advertisement campaigns, social media engagement and event collaborations. 
 
Akshay Kumar for Mylab
 
Mylab Discovery Solutions has announced actor Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador. The biotech company recently announced the launch of a Covid-19 self-test kit, CoviSelf.
 
The partnership aims at creating awareness of Mylab’s IVD instruments and kits for laboratories and jndividuals including CoviSelf. Kumar will play a role in educating people about the use, safety and efficacy of products, thus making our citizens well equipped to fight against Covid.
 
Metabelle Lobo joins Skoda Auto Volkswagen
 
Metabelle Lobo has been appointed as head of group communications for Skoda Auto Volkswagen. She moves from Mahindra Finance where she was head of communications. Lobo previously worked with Audi India as head of press between 2009 and 2016.
