Kiran Dcruz joins Tips Industries 

 

Tips Industries has announced the appointment of Kiran Dcruz as senior vice president for brands and partnerships. In his new role, Dcruz will lead the strategy for the Tips Music brand and build collaborative partnerships between brands, artists and music. He moves from Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures, where he was head – brand partnerships. In a career spanning over two decades, he has also worked with MTV, Fever, Red FM and Radio One, among others.  

 

Shemaroo appoints Swati Darekar 

 

Shemaroo Entertainment has announced the appointment of Swati Darekar as head of programming - Hindi GEC (general entertainment channel). Darekar will be responsible for Shemaroo's content strategy, aligning with overall broadcast business objectives. Leading the conceptualisation, development and execution of content for Shemaroo TV & Shemaroo Umang, she will lead a team of content creators to produce content that resonates with the target audience. Darekar moves from Colors, where she was fiction head. 

 

FIFA Club World Cup on Eurosport

 

Eurosport India, part of the Warner Bros Discovery group, has bagged the broadcast rights of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup. The Club World Cup is currently ongoing in Saudi Arabia and features Manchester City FC, Fluminense FC, Club Leon, Urawa Red Diamonds, Al Ahly, and the host team, Al-Ittihad.

 

Subeer Bakshi joins Pocket FM 

 

Pocket FM has announced the appointment of Subeer Bakshi as head of people and culture. 

Bakshi will be responsible for the buildout of people process and culture anchors that will enable the hyper-growth of the company. He will work with Rohan Nayak, co-founder and CEO, to build the organisation on a global scale. Bakshi moves from PhonePe, where he was talent strategy. In a career spanning over two decades, he has also worked with Mercer, Aon, Willis Towers Watson and Bajaj Finserv. 

 

The Argentine Football Association extends its presence in India with Interactive Avenues

 

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has announced the appointment of Interactive Avenues, to consolidate the content and brand expansion strategies of the Argentine team in India in the coming years. AFA began operations in the Indian market in 2021, creating content and activations for fans in India and generating regional sponsorship agreements. In parallel, AFA is developing its ecommerce channel for the Indian market, to offer a wide range of merchandising products to Argentine fans in this region.

 

Nidhi Sinha joins Publicis Worldwide India

 

Publicis Worldwide India has announced the appointment of Nidhi Sinha as vice president - planning and strategy. Based in Mumbai, she will report to Snehasis Bose, chief strategy officer, Publicis Worldwide. She joins the agency from McCann. In a career spanning 13 years, she has also worked with Fractal Analytics, Nielsen, and Mintel.

 

Virtue Worldwide appoints Ayushi Saria 

 

Virtue Worldwide, the agency powered by Vice Media Group, has announced the appointment of Ayushi Saria as associate creative director. With this appointment the agency aims to bolster its creative leadership with future-focused and culture-forward talent. Saria's last full time stint was with Wunderman Thompson till 2021. In a career spanning over nine years, he has also worked with Publicis Worldwide and Hungama Digital Services, among others. 

 

Nikhil Fernandes joins Vector Brand Solutions

 
Vector Brand Solutions has announced the appointment of Nikhil Fernandes as chief creative officer. He joins the agency after an independent stint, prior to which he was senior creative director - digital at FCB. He has also worked with Creativeland Asia, MSLGroup and OgilvyOne. He will report to Shriram Iyer, co-founder and group chief creative officer, Quotient Ventures.

 

Infectious Advertising appoints Neville Suraliwala

 
Infectious Advertising has announced the appointment of Neville Suraliwala as business head. He moves from Makani Creatives, where he was head - account management. In a career spanning 15 years, he has also worked with FCB Ulka, Lowe Lintas, Soho Square and L&K Saatchi and Saatchi.

 

Avinash Pant rejoins Red Bull

 

Avinash Pant has announced that he has joined Red Bull and will be operating from Austria. Pant updated an Instagram post to reflect his move. He moves from Meta, where he was director marketing. This is Pant's second stint with Red Bull. He was previously the director of marketing in 2020. In a career spanning over 26 years, he has also worked with Nike and The Walt Disney Company, among others. 

 

Tgthr announces leadership team 

 

Tgthr, the recently launched full-funnel agency founded by Aalap Desai, has announced the appointment of its creative leadership structure. 

 

With these appointments, the agency will amplify the agency's impact as a ‘force multiplier.’

 

tgthr has appointed four founding partners, who were previously at Dentsu Creative. 

 

Anadi Sah is appointed as national creative director, chief innovation officer. He was group executive creative director, Dentsu Creative. 

 

Vibhor Yadav is onboarded as regional creative officer - North and South. He was executive creative director. 

 

Pragati Rana is appointed as regional creative officer - West, head of originals. She was executive director, Dentsu Creative. 

 

Anirudh Venugopal, senior creative director, head of culture and founding partner. He was creative group head. 

 

 

Angel One appoints Adfactors PR 

 

Angel One has annouced the appointment of Adfactors PR for its strategic public relations duties. The account was won post a multi-agency pitch. The agency will be responsible for strengthening the brand's presence in the financial market.
