Occtagon Media Networks has completed an outdoor advertising campaign for Nataraj Gelix Pens by Hindustan Pencils. The campaign covered 10 states and 15 cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai. The key locations included areas with high footfall.
 
Hindustan Pencils aimed to launch Nataraj Gelix Pens and resonate with consumers. Occtagon Media Networks used outdoor media formats to achieve widespread reach and engagement in target cities. The campaign utilised various outdoor formats, such as billboards, unipoles, bus shelters, and gantries, to create visibility in urban markets.
 
Tandon Eye Hospital hires Orion Digital for digital boost
 
Tandon Eye Hospital has partnered with Orion Digital to enhance its online presence and attract more patients. Orion Digital will focus on improving the hospital's social media and search engine optimisation efforts. This will include increasing website traffic, improving online visibility, and engaging local patients.
 
As part of the deal, Orion Digital will aim at creating a strong local visibility for Tandon Eye Hospital and within a radius of 10 kilometres by establishing the hospital's presence across multiple digital platforms. The marketer will also help the hospital target specific patient groups based on geography to drive medical tourism in ophthalmology.
 
One Source bags PR contract from Grant Thornton Bharat
 
One Source has secured the public relations and corporate communications mandate for Grant Thornton Bharat, a professional services firm in India. The consultancy will manage Grant Thornton Bharat’s reputation across earned media, supporting the firm’s efforts to expand its brand reach.

Kraftshala launches content training program
 
Kraftshala has launched the Content and Social Media Launchpad Program, aimed at students and professionals seeking careers in content creation, freelancing, and social media. The program, held on weekends, offers separate tracks for freelancing, upskilling, and job placements, focusing on practical learning under industry mentors. As digital and content marketing grow, driven by AI and new tools, Kraftshala’s course prepares participants for roles in content marketing and social media across various industries. 
 
Kraftshala’s program provides placement support, including CV preparation and interview coaching. It begins on 5th October, with fees of ₹50,000 plus GST for the upskilling/freelancing track and ₹75,000 plus GST for the placement track. Registration and selection process details are available online.
 
Kraftshala Co-Founder Eshu Sharma said that the program would help students master skills such as brand understanding, copywriting, and results analysis, rather than superficial tips. The program integrates AI tools to enhance research and execution. Pilot batches have achieved a 98% placement rate at leading companies and agencies, Sharma mentioned.
 
L&K Saatchi & Saatchi appoints Roshni Kavina as creative lead
 
L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Roshni Kavina as its National Creative Director. Kavina, based in Mumbai, will report to the agency’s chief creative officers, Kartik Smetacek and Rohit Malkani. Kavina's return to Publicis Groupe follows her previous role as executive creative director at Publicis Ambience, where she worked on brands like Lakmé and Ferrero Rocher.
 
With two decades of experience, Kavina joins L&K Saatchi & Saatchi from Byju’s International, where she led brand strategy and creative for North America and Canada. She also founded the art studio, The Nextdoor Artist.

PR veterans launch Compass Communications

Public relations industry veterans Rafi Q Khan and Rohan Srinivasan have launched Compass Communications, an independent PR and communication consultancy firm headquartered in Delhi NCR. The company aims to provide full-service communication solutions, drawing on the founders’ combined four decades of experience across global and domestic markets.
 
Khan, with over 20 years in public relations, previously held senior positions at FleishmanHillard India, Weber Shandwick, and Cohn & Wolfe. He is a certified crisis manager and has worked with numerous multinational corporations and start-ups. Srinivasan brings 24 years of PR experience, leading Ketchum Sampark and spearheading UK-based agency Eulogy’s market entry in India. He has also held leadership roles at Madison PR and Vyoma.
 
Compass Communications currently operates with under a dozen consultants and partners with affiliates nationwide. The firm has signed clients across the automotive, consumer goods, education, real estate, and technology sectors.

Cashify onboards Ujjwal Sinha as marketing head

Cashify, India’s re-commerce platform, has appointed Ujjwal Sinha as Head of Marketing. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, Ujjwal aims to strengthen Cashify’s brand leadership in the re-commerce industry. Neha Phale has joined VVF India Limited as the head of corporate communications, following her role at Huhtamaki India Limited. Shubhradeep Guha appointed global chief delivery officer at Publicis Sapient

Publicis Sapient has appointed Shubhradeep Guha as its global chief delivery officer, overseeing client delivery and the AI transformation of its global services. Vikram Chandratrey joins Tata Consumer Products as vice president of marketing for ready-to-drink segment 

Vikram Chandratrey has transitioned from his role as director of marketing for Indonesia and head of innovation and equity for Southeast Asia at Mondelez International to join Tata Consumer Products (TCPL) as vice president of marketing for its ready-to-drink (RTD) category in India. He has relocated from Jakarta to Gurugram, where he will manage the marketing for brands including Himalayan Water, Tata Gluco+, and Tata Copper+.

Chandratrey’s move aligns with TCPL’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the RTD segment, which has seen significant growth following the company’s 2020 acquisition of PepsiCo’s stake in NourishCo Beverages. This acquisition has strengthened TCPL’s foothold in India’s packed beverages market. At Mondelez, Chandratrey played a key role in successful campaigns across Southeast Asia, such as the Oreo Blackpink collaboration and the launch of Ritz crackers in Indonesia.

GroupM promotes Bharat Rajamani to managing director of growth and acceleration

GroupM has promoted Bharat Rajamani to the position of managing director-growth and acceleration. Rajamani, previously serving as managing director-key projects, announced the news via LinkedIn.
