Bold Care’s Sextember campaign makes men’s sexual health a hot topic

Using humour and relatable scenarios to normalise conversations about men’s sexual health, the wellness brand plans to have an annual awareness drive every September.

Bold Care, a sexual health and wellness brand for men, has launched a new campaign #Sextember, dedicating the month of September to men’s sexual wellness. It aims to spread awareness about men’s sexual wellness across the country with multiple activities lined up throughout the month. 

Bold Care’s founder Rajat Jadhav said, “We are proud to be the 'unofficial' intimacy ally for millions of men across India. 'Sextember' is our way of celebrating all Indian men and helping them be bold, empowered, and informed.”

Since launching in July 2020, the company has focused on addressing men's health concerns, including premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. It claims to have gained recognition in the market, serving over 1.5 million men across India, by blending contemporary medicine with traditional treatments to tackle a range of sexual wellness issues.

Beyond its awareness campaign, Bold Care also offers products such as condoms and water-based lubricants, which are rapidly gaining popularity in India. As September unfolds, it aims to bring men's sexual health into the spotlight, encouraging open discussions and education on the topic.

Campaign’s take: Bold Care has pulled out all the stops with its latest Sextember campaign. Following the success of its earlier #TakeBoldCareOfHer campaign, which saw Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and internet sensation Johnny Sins poke fun at melodramatic soap operas, Sextember takes a quirky and bold approach to men’s sexual health.

Bold Care’s strategy is all about blending humour with education, and this campaign is no exception. By choosing September as the month to kick off a dedicated conversation about men’s sexual wellness, the company aims to make Sextember an annual highlight.

What makes this campaign stand out is its unapologetically fun and engaging approach to a topic that is often swept under the rug. The use of humour, paired with relatable scenarios, makes it easier for men to engage with and talk about issues like premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction.
