Goibibo and Anupam Kher give the youth hope to soar again

Watch the film conceptualised by WATConsult here

Goibibo has rolled out a campaign #WeWillTakeOffAgain, to re-instill hope and a sense of optimism for the youth, who have been the life of new-age media in the fight against the pandemic. Conceptualised by WATConsult, the elder generation applauds the fervor of the young and motivates them to not lose hope, despite the challenging times.

The digital film showcases Anupam Kher, who tells the youth that they will fight off the pandemic and beat all the odds to fly high again, not only in their lives, but also to their favourite destinations.

Sunil Suresh, chief marketing officer, Goibibo, said, “This has been a difficult time for everyone and especially our youth as they have had to bottle up their passion and energy and remain indoors. However, they demonstrated their mettle as the second wave of Covid engulfed the nation, where we saw youth stepping up as frontline respondents and innovators to serve and support those affected directly or indirectly by the virus – and their efforts have been nothing short of extraordinary. Through this campaign, we would like to thank and applaud their collective contributions and also deliver a message of hope. These tough times will pass and their drive, resolve and passion will see them fly to new heights”.

Heeru Dingra, CEO, WATConsult said, “In the past year and a half, we have met with some dire hardships and unprecedented challenges. But through it all, we also had the privilege of witnessing some amazing acts of service by the youth of this country. From offering credible information, to lending a helping hand, to uplifting spirits, young people have turned to social media to lead the way. So, in the spirit of celebrating these heroes, we conceptualised the #WeWillTakeOffAgain campaign for Goibibo. Through this campaign, we want the youth to know that their efforts aren’t going unnoticed and they are inspiring us all to give back in our own ways too.”
