Lenskart gets Karan Johar to see the price tag for what its not

Watch the film conceptualised by Tanmay Bhat, Puneet Chadha, Devaiah Bopanna, Deep Joshi and Vishal Dayama here

Lenskart has launched a campaign titled 'The War of Fair Prices' to showcase its variety of designs at affordable prices. Conceptualised by Tanmay Bhat, Puneet Chadha, Devaiah Bopanna, Deep Joshi and Vishal Dayama, the film features director Karan Johar and the brand’s founder Peyush Bansal.

The film begins with Bansal ready to fall asleep. He wakes up to a call from Johar, where he compliments Bansal on the range of designs on Lenskart. However, he confirms if the price of the one that he liked was 999 dollars. Bansal then tells him that it is 999 rupees and not dollars. Hearing this, Johar asks him if the price could be increased, since he couldn’t be seen wearing anything under a lakh. When Bansal refuses to do that, Johar continues to bargain with him, with Bansal finally telling him to look elsewhere, since there's no dearth of sellers selling their products at unnecessarily high prices.
