Campaigns for Britannia cookies, Alpenliebe, Nescafe, Mastercard, Alchemist, Parachute Advansed, L’Oreal, TVS Scooty Pep+ and Coca Cola could be seen on the tube.

In the major appointments, Namrata Nandan was elevated to general manager, Bangalore, Loveleen Raina joined McCann Erickson Mumbai as vice-president and general manager, and Rahul Mathew was roped in to head one of the units, along with Akshay Kapnadak. There was no attrition seen at the senior-most levels of management. Towards the end of the year, Prasoon Joshi was appointed chairman of the worldwide McCann creative leadership council in another nod to the agency’s Indian operations.

How Campaign India rates the agency: 8

How McCann Worldgroup rates itself: 8

• Strong Growth in difficult times: McCann WG continues to grow in strong double digits much higher than the industry average. Most existing clients gave us additional business and we continue to be the preferred partner for the new assignments.  Its client list has always been enviable, especially in India where there is a great mix of MNC blue chip companies and top Indian Companies.

• Consistency in Product: MWG has consistently delivered strong business building product, year after year and has not seen any significant Client losses in last many years.

• Stable Leadership: We have had a very stable leadership in Creative and all our divisions.

• New offerings and reinventing: McCann WG has consistently been expanding its offerings. This year its MRM and Healthcare divisions grew substantially and added new expertise to their offering. Our second agency offering [MWG TAG Ideation] has become a great success from year 1 and is now one of the best second agencies from any network in the country.
