AdAsia 2011: In conversation with Bruce Haines

A quick catch up with Bruce Haines, global chief strategy officer, Cheil Worldwide at AdAsia 2011

wide player in 16:9 format. Used on article page for Campaign.

Post our meeting with Bruce Haines, Cheil Worldwide's global chief strategy officer, in Cannes in June 2011, we asked him if there was any update, particularly regarding to the geographic move from the Samsung office. He replied,  "We're now out of the Samsung building in mostly all of our major markets. We aren't out in India as yet, because Samsung has just grown exponentially in this market. We're running as fast as we can to keep up with the growth of Samsung. But I would imagine that we will take that step [of moving out] by 2012."

We also asked Haines about BMB India (Cheil has a 49 percent stake in the agency globally) and how it's doing here. He said that Cheil and BMB in India would be both collaborative and competitive.
