Reebok gets resolute Ranaut to deliver #FitToFight message, resonates

Watch the Indian leg of global #BeMoreHuman campaign by McCann Erickson here

Reebok has rolled out its #BeMoreHuman campaign in India with an ad film featuring Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut. The film has been conceptualised by McCann Erickson India.

The global #BeMoreHuman campaign celebrates stories of people who have pushed their own personal limits, expanding their mental and social strength, going beyond the physical.

The film featuring Ranaut shows her pursuing a rigorous fitness regime. As she pushes herself across different training exercises, a voice over asks, 'What did you feel when your father didn't support your dreams?' The actress responds: 'Focus'. Asked how she dealt with not getting new offers after her first movie,  she says, 'I raised my game'. The voice over asks her how she responded to media criticism about her inability to speak in English. She says, 'I let that pass.' She plugs in her earphones and pretends not to have heard the question, when asked about people saying she did not have the looks for Bollywood. When the voice over brings up her two national awards and asks where will she go from here, Ranaut replies, 'I'll keep sweating'.

Ranaut delivers the message: 'How fit you are, decides how far you go. Go far. Be more. Be more human.'

The film was published on Reebok India's social media channels on 7 March 2016.
