Breaking news: Ajay Naqvi joins Mudra India as EVP - North and East

Ajay Naqvi has joined Mudra India to head the agency's North and East unit. He will join as EVP and head of Mudra North and East. Prior to this, Naqvi was the national business head for Airtel at Rediffusion Y&R.

Ajay Naqvi has joined Mudra India to head the agency's North and East unit. He will join as EVP and head of Mudra North and East.

Prior to this, Naqvi was the national business head for Airtel at Rediffusion Y&R.

Commenting on his appointment, Naqvi said, "I am excited to have become a part of this great journey that Mudra is undertaking with a clear and obtainable destination. The way I see it, my biggest challenge would be to bring simplicity back into advertising. Great people, great work is what I would like to hear everybody say about Mudra North and East soon."

Naqvi brings with him over 10 years of diverse experience in the industry across agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, Bates Asia and Rediffusion. He has worked on a variety of businesses, such as Castrol, Indian Oil, Amaron, Tata Motors, DHL, HPCL, Nokia, Heineken, Airtel and campaigns like Sumo Victa- ‘Kuch log Sumo chalate hain’ and Safari- ‘Reclaim your life’, amongst others.
