Breaking news: MediaCom hires Avinash Pillai as national buying head

MediaCom has roped in Avinash Pillai as national buying head. Pillai will be based out of Mumbai, but will oversee the buying requirements of all of MediaCom's clients.Speaking about the appointment, Divya Gururaj, managing director, MediaCom says, "With Avinash, we are aiming to further strengthen our buying, make it more holistic and create win-win partnerships for our clients with the media."

MediaCom has roped in Avinash Pillai as national buying head. Pillai will be based out of Mumbai, but will oversee the buying requirements of all of MediaCom's clients.

Added Pillai, "MediaCom’s diverse client base across FMCG, automobile, finance and durables, amongst others is really exciting. I look forward to creating value for these clients through media procurement ."

Pillai is an engineer by profession and has experience in media buying and media sales. He has previously worked with Mindshare Fulcrum, Radio One, Turner, ABP and Vision Media.
