MediaCom named Media Agency Network of the Year at Valencia

MediaCom has been named the ‘Media Agency Network of the Year’ at Festival of Media Awards 2010, held at Valencia.MediaCom Worldwide COO, Harvey Goldhersz, picked up the award on behalf of the network where MediaCom also scooped two awards in the following categories: Best Communications Strategy for 'T-Mobile, Dance in the UK' campaign and Best Targeted Campaign for 'GSK Teams with Drag Queens to Fight HIV' campaign in the US. 

MediaCom named Media Agency Network of the Year at Valencia

MediaCom has been named the ‘Media Agency Network of the Year’ at Festival of Media Awards 2010, held at Valencia.

MediaCom Worldwide COO, Harvey Goldhersz, picked up the award on behalf of the network where MediaCom also scooped two awards in the following categories: Best Communications Strategy for 'T-Mobile, Dance in the UK' campaign and Best Targeted Campaign for 'GSK Teams with Drag Queens to Fight HIV' campaign in the US. 

While of the eight entries that were shortlisted from India, none got converted into an award; MediaCom India received two ‘highly commended’ honours for the 'Gillette Shave India' campaign in both Best Consumer Driven Campaign and The Effectiveness categories. MediaCom India also made it to the shortlist of the Agency of the Year category.

Mindshare India, too, received a ‘commended’ honour for its 'Lux Perfect Bride' campaign in the Best Use of Content category.

Said Divya Gururaj, MD, MediaCom India: “It’s a great honour for MediaCom India to have made the shortlist for Agency of the Year.”

Among other global winners, Agency of the Year honours went to Havas' MPG Mexico and the Financial Times took home the Media Owner of the Year award. Jack Klues of Publicis Group's Vivaki was named the Media Professional of the Year.
