Chetan Ahuja joins TME, Mumbai, as general manager

TME has announced the appointment of Chetan Ahuja as general manager for its Mumbai operations. Ahuja was previously associated with Media Direction as its media director.

Ahuja started his career with M: Ideas as a media planner and went on to work with JWT – Mediavision, Triton Communications, Interface Communications, India Today and the Bhaskar Group. He has experience of around thirteen years in the media industry and has worked on brands like LIC Nomura, Rasna, Siemens, Bajaj Auto, DSP Merrill Lynch, Parle, Pidilite and Mahindra Tractors, among others.

Announcing the appointment, D Rajappa, president, Rediffusion Y&R, said, “Chetan brings with him a sound and robust understanding of media & strategic planning born out of a rich experience spanning over 13 years in the industry. We are confident that he would lead the TME-Mumbai team effectively and would add value to our clients’ brands through impactful media solutions.”

Commenting on his new role, Ahuja said, “I am thrilled about the opportunity that has been extended to me and I look forward to a successful endeavor with TME. I hope to contribute to the best of my abilities and help the agency in achieving continued success.”
