CIDCA 2018: Mindshare retains 'Agency of the Year'; M&M is 'Client of the Year'

CIDCA 2018: Mindshare retains 'Agency of the Year'; M&M is 'Client of the Year'
Mindshare India bagged the coveted 'Agency of the Year' category at the Campaign India Digital Crest Awards 2018 held in Mumbai on 5 June. The agency had won the same accolade at CIDCA 2017. 
 
This year, the agency won 4 Golds, a Silver and 4 Bronze en route to the title. 
 
Two of the Gold wins came for Idea. One was for 'No Ajnabee - Vogon' in the 'Format Innovation' category, while the other was for the 'Most Entertaining Banner' in the 'Media Innovation' category. 
 
The third Gold came for Captain Morgan's 'Cometh the hour, cometh the drink' in 'Mobile Display'. It also won Gold for 'Single as Pringle' in the 'Viral Marketing' category. 
 
Mahindra & Mahindra won client of the year for winning across categories from auto to financial services. 
 
Sparkt was the second most awarded agency on the night as it won three Gold, two Silver and a Bronze. 
 
It won Gold for 'Ted Talks Nayi Soch' for Star India in the 'Integrated' and 'Use of social media in a campaign' category. The other Gold was for ‘Mahindra Mutual Fund Textmoji' in the 'Mobile - SMS' category.
 
Isobar bagged a total of six metals, which included two Golds. The agency's Gold wins came for ‘Road Safety message through a first time interactive game’ for Ceat Tyres in the 'Digital Craft - Best Use of Interaction Design in online or mobile apps' and ‘Mahindra First Choice uses Green Sim Data Insights to drive 8X Conversions’ in the 'Use of data - for new business' category. The agency also won a Silver and three Bronze.
 
WATConsult also won two Golds. The wins came for '#PowerlessQueen' for in the 'Showcase' and 'Social cause - Campaign for an NGO' categories. The agency also won a Silver.
 
Happy mcgarrybowen bagged two metals, both of which were Golds for Ola. One came for the 'Ola Share – World Environment Day' campaign in the Online Video (less than 180 seconds) category and the other was for 'Ola Share - #FadakPadtaHai' in the ‘Social cause - Social cause supported by a corporate/brand’ category.
 
Interactive Avenues won five metals, a Gold, three Silvers and a Bronze. The Gold win was for 'How Amazon India Battled Customer Fatigue to Build the Biggest Sales Event of the Year' in the 'Online marketing' category.
 
FoxyMoron bagged a Gold, Silver and Bronze each. The gold win was for ‘Suicide Squad On WhatsApp’ for HBO in the 'Mobile-SMS' category.
 
Jetprivilege won a Gold and Bronze. The Gold win was for the 'Account Summary Campaign for JetPrivilege Loyalty Programme' in the 'Use of data - for CRM' category.
 
The following agencies also bagged Golds (their only wins of the night):
 
iProspect and Dentsu x had a joint entry for ‘Mutual Funds Sahi Hai’ campaign for Association of Mutual Funds India in the 'Digital Strategy' category.
 
Logicserve Digital won Gold in the 'Use of data - for CRM' category for its entry 'Data Driven Email Marketing scales up business by 205 per cent' for Fullerton India.
  
R Square Consulting Services' ‘Developer Ninja Outreach influencer engagement program’ for IBM India won Gold in the 'Content Community' category.  
 
The Viral Fever won Gold for 'Girliyapa and Durex’s Girlsplaining' in the 'Digital craft - best writing' category.
 
Titan Corporate won Gold for 'Shut the fake up' for Fastrack in the 'Website - campaigns' category.
