Connekkt Media acquires Hollywood's Mob Scene

The acquisition is expected to help the Indian media and entertainment company to expand its business footprint globally, marking its entry into the American markets.

The media and entertainment company from India, Connekkt Media has acquired Mob Scene, a creative and marketing agency from Hollywood. The acquisition is expected to help Connekkt Media expand its business footprint globally, marking its entry into the US and North American markets. 

The deal was facilitated by Greg Bedrosian and Mohit Pareek of Drake Star on behalf of Mob Scene. 

With its offices across Los Angeles, Mumbai, Dubai, and Delhi NCR, Connekkt Media can leverage Mob Scene’s creative expertise in combination with its own media technology to fortify its business in the global entertainment industry.

For the past two decades, Mob Scene has been the creative agency behind the marketing of Hollywood titles and series such as Avatar, Dune, Barbie, Jurassic World, The Last of Us, Puss in Boots, The Marvellous Mrs Maisel, and A Complete Unknown. It has also crafted marketing campaigns for franchises like Fast & Furious, Stranger Things, Kung-Fu Panda, and Minions.

In 2023, Connekkt Media was awarded the marketing mandate for three films of AVS Studios for INR 270 crores. As part of the transaction, it provideed financing, licensing, and marketing, while AVS Studios created and produced the movies. Mob Scene's acquisition allows the company to make a foray in the global media and entertainment domain.
