Globosport expands product portfolio

Globosport India has announced a brand new addition of event services to its existing portfolio, which will look at strengthening its brand and entertainment division which will offer activation solutions. The new team that will oversee these new functions is headed by Jeevan Nambiar in the role of national head – events. He was earlier handling brand activation at Kingfisher Airlines.

Globosport India has announced a brand new addition of event services to its existing portfolio, which will look at strengthening its brand and entertainment division which will offer activation solutions. The new team that will oversee these new functions is headed by Jeevan Nambiar in the role of national head – events. He was earlier handling brand activation at Kingfisher Airlines.

The team will be supported by Kaushal Upreti - associate VP- Marketing, Globosport Events. Upreti was previously the regional head (south), Wizcraft; and Sujoy Ganguly - associate VP- Operations. He was previously Country Head, TSM.

Nambiar comments, "Our focus is to deliver a positive brand experience to our customers and maximize our brand value to increase platforms for our celebrities, thereby creating a suitable value exchange with our clients and customers."

Anirban Das Blah, CEO, Globosport says, "While we have successfully executed large format sports events in the past, we cannot be the biggest entertainment management company and not have a serious events business. The launch of Globosport Events is a statement of intent; Globosport has been the leader in the different business verticals that we operate in and Globosport Events will be no different."
