Vikas Agnihotri will take on the mandate in the interim period

Google's Rajan Anandan to join Sequoia
Rajan Anandan, VP, Google South East Asia and India, has decided to move on from the company. He will continue in this role till the end of April, post which Vikas Agnihotri, country director, sales will take on the responsibility in the interim for Google India. 
 
Anandan is joining Sequoia Capital India as a managing director. He will join the leadership team at the firm, in addition to the six current managing directors.
 
Scott Beaumont, president, Google Asia Pacific, said, "We are grateful to Rajan for his huge contribution to Google over the past eight years. His entrepreneurial zeal and leadership has helped grow the overall internet ecosystem in India and Southeast Asia, and we wish him all the best in his new adventures”. 
 
Anandan joined Google in 2011. Prior to that he was MD at Microsoft India.
