Madison Media Group bags media mandate of McCain Foods

Madison Media Group has wom the media duties of McCain Foods. The account is Delhi-based and will be handled by the group’s unit Platinum Media. The agency informed that McCain plans to substantially increase its spends in the coming year. The incumbent agency on the business is Zenith Optimedia.

McCain Foods India, the Indian subsidiary of McCain Foods Canada, has a range of frozen food products including french fries, aloo tikki, idli-sambar combo and real cheese appetizers.

On the win, Gautam Kiyawat, group CEO, Madison Media, said, "McCain as a brand has tremendous potential in the Indian market and I am excited to have them onboard as our client and we are confident of helping them achieve their rightful dominant share."

On the development, Vikas Mittal, managing director, McCain Foods India, said, “McCain brand is driving growth of frozen snacks in India. In pursuance, we have a line up of new business strategies and accompanying communication initiatives. Today, we are looking at increasing our media presence across all touch points.”

Basabdatta Chowdhuri, CEO, Platinum Media, expressed confidence that the agency would deliver impact and value for McCain in India.
