Max Hegerman to head Edelman Digital – India as MD

Max Hegerman has joined Edelman India to head its digital offering, Edelman Digital. Along with the appointment, the agency has also announced the adoption of Edelman Digital branding in India. Hegerman will report to Gavin Coombes, president of Edelman Digital Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, Hegerman was head of digital at JWT India and CEO at Hungama Digital Services.

Edelman Digital, will firm up our capabilities in research and insights, social media marketing, content production and syndication, social and reputational search, web and mobile development, blogger engagement, digital crisis management and a number of other areas,” said Robert Holdheim, CEO - South Asia, Middle East, Africa and managing director, Edelman India.

Over the years, he has worked across organisations such as Tribal DDB, India; TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Beijing; BBDO, Chicago, Illinois; Goodby Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, California and Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, Oregon, amongst others.
