Hires Dina D'souza and elevates Abhishek Joshi, Amandeep Singh, Niraj Mishra, Nitin Kemse, Sandeep Das, Swati Kaushik, Kunal Bharti

Mx Media strengthens its growth and business teams with hires
Mx Media has announced its new corporate team. The restructuring includes teams for user growth, marketing and brand, revenue, SVOD distribution and partnerships, AVOD and revenue planning, and strategy.
 
In the user growth team, Mx Media has appointed Niraj Mishra as the head of user acquisition and performance. Mishra was previously with ByteDance.
 
Amandeep Singh has been elevated as head of growth strategy and analytics. Mishra was head of growth. 
 
Swati Kaushik is now the head of programming strategy and content operations. She was director-content programming. 
 
In the marketing and brand teams, Sandeep Das is now the marketing head. His mandate is to work on show campaigns, trade marketing, and brand and consumer strategy. Das was previously content marketing head, AVP. 
 
In the SVOD, distribution, and partnerships teams, Abhishek Joshi is now the head. Joshi was SVP and business head-SVOD (subscription business) and business partnerships. 
 
As for the AVOD team, Dina D'souza will lead the direct client and agency business as revenue head of AVOD OTT. She moves from Trell where she was vice president and head of ad monetisation. 
 
Nitin Kemse is now head of the network revenue and aims to drive new ad verticals for the self-serve platform - Mx Advantage and Mx Audience Network. Kemse was assistant vice president-indirect revenue and ad operations.
 
In the revenue planning and strategy teams, Kunal Bharti will lead this function to drive pricing strategy, market share growth, planning and best practices. He was head-business planning and strategy at Mx Player. Bharti will be supported by Ramgopal Iyer, revenue planning and strategy, Mx player. 
 
With this restructuring in its organisational teams, Mx Media aims to focus on the user journey, drive new user growth, and bring operational efficiency. 
 
These teams will work with Nikhil Gandhi, chief operating officer, Mx Media. 
 
Gandhi said, “The last year has been dynamic, transformative and extremely rewarding for Mx Media. We are extremely proud of our businesses scaling new heights and the value we have been able to create for our customers, shareholders and employees. We are pleased to announce a restructuring of functions and new leadership who will work in driving this exponential growth story further at Mx Media.”
