Niloufer Dundh launches media sales, branding and digital consultancy

Niloufer Dundh, who quit Hungama Digital Media Entertainment in December 2012 as head of integrated media, has decided to don an entrepreneurial hat. She has announced her new venture Ventes Dundh, a consultancy focused on media sales, branding opportunities and digital projects.

Dundh informed that she has already tied up with three projects. The first is in the rural mobility space focused on reaching out to farmers. The second revolves around kids’ digital ecosystem and will be launched in March 2013, while the third project deals with crowdsourcing.

Without divulging specifics on the rural mobility project which is underway, she explained, "I have always maintained that the real power of mobile will be when it can reach where State Bank of India can’t possibly open a branch or Levers can’t distribute its products. Finding a mobile grassroot solution is always a challenge, and I believe the company I have tied up with has the ammunition to provide meaningful opportunities to brands.”

On other forthcoming projects, she said, “Crowdsourcing is something that has already shown great traction with brands, and in the years to come will become a 'must do' for brands who wish to be taken seriously in their digital initiatives. During my digital tenure, I have experienced the true requirement for this and the poor quality that prevents brands from using this content the way that they had envisaged.” \

Ventes Dundh has forged a tie up to crowdsource from talent in film, fashion, art, photography and music, allowing brands to tap into the combined artistes pool.

Dundh has served in various capacities at Radio Mirchi, Hungama TV, UTV and OOH Media, before joining Hungama.
