RCB launch new online show

Sidhartha Mallya, owner of the Royal Challengers Bangalore is adding to the list of digital initiatives IPL teams are taking up as he will host an online talk show called 'No Boundaries - No script, no bullshit'.

The show will be an exclusive video interview done by Mallya on the RCB website where he will interview members of the RCB team (players, owners, support staff, families etc.) in an informal and fun way, to showcase a different side of each person who will be interviewed.

Mallya hopes to rule the online space with this initiative and make the digital platform bigger for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Talking about the show, Mallya said, "Everything we do at RCB is for our fans, and we wanted to create a platform to give the fans an insight into their hero's lives away from the field of play. The show is completely unscripted, and shot in our team room in the hotel using pretty basic equipment. The guests are completely unaware of the questions that I ask, and the challenge that they undertake beforehand. The main focus is also their lives, hobbies, likes, dislikes etc away from the field, things they would not naturally be asked in an interview. We will try and get as many RCB players featured on the show, as well as the support staff and management. There may also be a couple of guest episodes involving people from the other teams. The challenge segment is the most fun, as it involves the guest doing something out of the ordinary. As I travel with the team during the tournament, I have got to know the players on a personal level, so having me host it make it easier for them to open up."

Each webisode will be available to view on the RCB website  and on their YouTube channel.

In another development, Mallya has signed up with KWAN. The agency will exclusively manage and represent the owner of the RCB team and along with Mallya they will look to explore opportunities across entertainment, fashion, luxury and media spaces for the latter.
