Palia to head all SVOD services while Ailawadi will oversee youth, music and English entertainment biz

Viacom18 rejigs leadership team, elevates Ferzad Palia and Anshul Ailawadi
Viacom18 has announced changes in its leadership team with the aim to bolster its digital and broadcast businesses. Ferzad Palia, head, Voot Select, youth, music and English entertainment, Viacom18 has been handed the expanded mandate as head – SVOD and international business, Viacom18 Digital Ventures. Further, Anshul Ailawadi, currently serving as the strategy and project management lead at the group CEO’s office, has been elevated to business head – youth, music and English entertainment.
 
In his new role, Palia will head all SVOD services (Voot Select and Voot Kids) and international expansion for Voot. He will report to Gourav Rakshit, COO, Viacom18 Digital Ventures.
 
Ailawadi will now look after the network’s youth, music and English entertainment business. Hereon, he will report to Rahul Joshi, MD, Network18.
