1pointsize bags Gho Agro
 
Chennai-based 1pointsize has bagged the creative duties of dairy products company Gho Agro. The company, launched in 2012, sells curd, paneer, milk and lassi under the Gho Agro brand in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and plans to introduce specialty cheese, special yoghurt and milkshakes.
 
Firstpost rolls out Hindi offering
 
Digital-only portal Firstpost has announced the launch of a Hindi offering. Website www.hindi.firstpost.com will lay emphasis on video content keeping consumption habits of the consumers in mind, informed a statement.
 
Taapsee Pannu for Fruits Up
 
Manpasand Beverages has appointed actor Taapsee Pannu as brand ambassador for its Fruits Up juice brand. The drink is targeted at the urban consumer who is health conscious, informed a statement. It added that Pannu's fan following in the South should help Fruits Up penetrate that market.
 
Deepika Singh to handle marcom at Gionee
 
Gionee India has announced the appointment of Deepika Singh as director of marketing communications. Singh was heading corporate communications and corporate affairs at the company prior. The new mandate covers internal and external communications, brand building initiatives and sales growth, according to an official statement. 
 
Microland appoints Purnima Menon CMO
 
Microland, an IT infrastructure service provider, has announced the appointment of Purnima Menon as CMO. Menon is based in Bengaluru and responsible for marketing functions including global business, strategic marketing, sales enablement and corporate communications, informed a statement from the company. Prior to joining Microland, she was EVP and CMO at CSS Corp. She has also worked with Infosys BPO, Avaya GlobalConnect and Bates in past assignments. 
 
My FM's four new stations
 
Dainik Bhaskar Group's radio division My FM has rolled out a new station each in Aurangabad, Sangli, Nanded and Ahmednagar. In Maharashtra, it had a station in Nagpur prior. My FM intends to launch stations in Nashik, Jalgaon, Solapur, Akola and Dhule in a month. 
 
Anita Karnik joins Sniper 
 
The 120 Media Collective has announced the appointment of Anita Karnik as SVP and business head of Sniper. She joins the agency from Mindshare where she was principal partner. Karnik takes over from Chahna Rupani, and will report to Roopak Saluja, founder and CEO, The 120 Media Collective. Her mandate at Sniper is creative and production output for content across platforms, screens, formats and media. She has worked with Rediffusion and Lintas in past assignments.
