ASCI processes complaints against 295 ads
 
In July 2018, ASCI investigated complaints against 295 advertisements. For 79 of these advertisements, the advertisers promptly ensured corrective action as soon as the complaints were received. 
 
ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 176 of the remaining 216 advertisements evaluated by them.  
 
Of the 176 advertisements wherein the complaints were upheld, 111 belonged to the education sector, 25 to food & beverages, 21 to healthcare and four to personal care. Fifteen ads were from the ‘others’ category.
 
Hill+Knowlton bags Discovery Communications 
 
Hill+Knowlton Strategies has bagged the communications mandate for Discovery Communications India. The agency won the account post a multi-agency pitch and will handle the complete portfolio of channels under the network. 
 
AdLift wins Wave Group's social media mandate
 
AdLift has bagged the social media mandate for Wave Group’s – Wave City, Wave City Centre, Wave Estate and Wave One projects. The account was won post a multi-agency pitch.
 
Kerastase from the L'Oreal group appoints VMLY&R
 
Kérastase from the L’Oréal Group has appointed VMLY&R India as its social agency of record for a period of two years. The agency will manage the digital strategy and communication for the entire Kérastase’s portfolio across their Facebook, Twitter and Youtube channels. 
 
A&O Realty assigns communications to Fruitbowl Digital
 
A&O Realty has appointed Fruitbowl Digital to handle its marketing and communications strategy post a multi-agency pitch.
 
The agency will handle media planning and buying and creative for digital and offline advertising. 
 
iProspect gets Asad Khan, Vishal Shah
 
iProspect India has announced the appointment of Asad Khan and Vishal Shah as senior directors to lead its SEO practice at the agency. The duo move from Performics.Convonix where they were associate directors.
