Zee News' CEO Sudhir Chaudhary to launch his own venture (updated)
Sudhir Chaudhary, CEO and editor-in-chief, Zee News, has left the media organisation.
 
Chaudhary had joined Zee News for his second stint in 2012. His first stint had ended in 2003, after which he joined Sahara to launch the Hindi news channel, Sahara Samay.
 
According to media reports, in his resignation, Chaudhary stated that he plans to launch his own media venture. 
 
Along with Zee News, his remit included WION, Zee Business and Zee 24 Taas. Sources at Zee News have confirmed the news to Campaign India.
