MediaMonks India appoints Shouvik Roy to lead business transformation and client expansion

MediaMonks India has announced the appointment of Shouvik Roy to drive business transformation. Roy's new role will focus on developing strategies to expand the company's diverse client base, in collaboration with Robert Godinho, the recently promoted managing director at MediaMonks India. Previously, Roy co-founded and led initiatives in advertising, content, and design with ventures like Elephant and YAAP, and he continues to consult in brand marketing at GOAT Brand Labs, following his presidency at Ogilvy. His experience spans various global and regional client projects. 

Dilpreeta Vasudeva Joins Ziki and Sirrus.AI as founding CMO

After leading Meta's marketing efforts from 2022 to 2023, Dilpreeta Vasudeva has transitioned to the role of founding chief marketing officer at Ziki and Sirrus.AI. Her departure from Meta followed the company’s layoffs in India during 2023, part of a restructuring to optimise operations amid changing market dynamics. Announcing her exit on LinkedIn, she reflected on her time at Meta with gratitude, despite the unexpected turn. Vasudeva brings two decades of experience across multiple sectors, having begun her career in client relations at Radisson before advancing through various marketing roles at Tech Mahindra, Times Internet, Microsoft, Tata Play, Reliance Industries, and Bharti Enterprises. She has also founded CMO Access.

Abhijat Bharadwaj appointed as chief creative officer for Dentsu Creative
 
Abhijat Bharadwaj has been appointed as the chief creative officer for Digital Experiences at Dentsu Creative. Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, he expressed his excitement about this opportunity. Bharadwaj brings over 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, starting his career as a copywriter at Leo Burnett in 2007. He has previously worked at several prestigious agencies including Star India, Contract Advertising, McCann Erickson Delhi, and Black Pencil. Before joining Dentsu Creative, he spent seven years at CreativeLand Asia, where he progressed from Executive creative director to chief creative officer.
 
Sriparna Tikekar joins 4AM Worldwide as chief creative officer
 
4AM Worldwide has appointed Sriparna Tikekar as its new chief creative officer. This strategic move aims to enhance the agency's creative services through innovative and technology-driven approaches. Tikekar, with over 15 years of experience in the media industry and previously co-founding and serving as CCO of ScoopWhoop, will lead the creative direction at 4AM. Her expertise in content creation and understanding of pop culture and consumer behavior are expected to significantly boost the agency's creative offerings and brand building capabilities.
 
L&K Saatchi & Saatchi appoints Ekta Relan as chief strategy officer 
 
L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, a part of Publicis Groupe India, has strengthened its strategy leadership by elevating Snehasis Bose, its chief strategy officer (CSO), to the role of group chief strategy officer.  With this, Bose will now oversee strategy across L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis India, and Saatchi & Saatchi Propagate. Additionally, Ekta Relan takes over the reins as the new chief strategy officer (CSO) for L&K Saatchi & Saatchi. Together, Bose and Relan will collaborate to enhance the agency's strategic initiatives. 
 
With over 25 years of experience, Bose has been associated with agencies like McCann Erickson, Publicis Ambience, IMRB International, and Contract Advertising. He joined L&K Saatchi & Saatchi in 2015 and was elevated to CSO in 2020. He will continue reporting to Paritosh.
 
Relan joins L&K Saatchi & Saatchi after a stint as chief strategy officer at Lowe Lintas. She has also worked with Mullen Lintas, Sapient Nitro Singapore and Unilever Singapore during her career spanning 23 years. She will collaborate closely with Srivastava and Bose to drive forward the agency's strategic initiatives in her new role.
 
Leo Burnett India onboards Rajeev Rakshit as executive director, Bangalore
 
Leo Burnett India, part of the Publicis Groupe India has announced the appointment of Rajeev Rakshit as executive director, Leo Burnett, Bangalore. Rakshit will be reporting to Amitesh Rao – CEO, Leo Burnett – South Asia, and is entrusted with taking the agency forward to the next level across client relationships, solutions, talent and growth.
 
The appointment marks his second stint with the agency, having worked at Leo Burnett, Publicis Groupe’s L&K Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis in various stints spanning his over two and a half decades career. His last role was as group CEO and managing partner – Thinking Folks, an independent upstream advertising and marketing solutions organisation. Rakshit has also worked with JWT/WPP (Global Team Ford) , Saregama (RPG group) and Everest brand solutions.
 
NIC Ice Cream appoints Madison Media Ultra as Media AOR

Pune-based home-grown brand NIC Ice Cream, has announced the appointment of Madison Media Ultra, a unit of Madison World, as their official Media Agency on Record. The account will be handled by the Agency from their Mumbai office and will manage all media aspects for the brand, which includes traditional, digital and outdoor.
 
OML Entertainment appoints Kreeti Gogia to helm content including its OTT and studios endeavours 
 
OML or Only Much Louder Entertainment, a full-service media and entertainment organisation has announced the appointment of Kreeti Gogia as head of content and senior vice president. As SVP, she will spearhead the company’s business and operations for all new fiction, non-fiction, branded and short-form content developed and executed.
 
With close to 15 years of experience in media, Gogia has been associated with OML since 2015, first as a freelance executive producer before coming on board full-time and rising up to become content head in 2019. 
 
She has previously worked at UTV Productions, Endemol Shine India, Wakao and Colosceum Media creating content for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, UTV Bindass, Channel [V], MTV, YouTube, Jio Cinema and more. Most recently, she also helped set up 1947 Productions, where they created content for Zee5, MX Player and Epic On. 
 
Havas Media Network India names Anand Kumar as president - South
 
Havas Media Network India has announced the appointment of Anand Kumar as president - South, Havas Media India to spearhead the operations in the southern markets.
 
Kumar will be based out of Bengaluru and report to Uday Mohan, managing director, Havas Media India, and will work closely with the core leadership team of the agency.
 
In his most recent role, Kumar spearheaded a media consultancy, catering specifically to Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) clients. Prior to this, he held a decade-old stint with GroupM at various senior roles.
 
Ex-Wunderman Thompson ECDs launch new creative agency 
 
Priya Pardiwalla and Steve Mathias, former executive creative directors at Wunderman Thompson have started their own creative and content agency called ‘Steve Priya’ with their first office in Mumbai.  
 
The agency is dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation across every level, aiming to achieve several key objectives such as craft communication that not only promotes brands but also builds engagement. Additionally, it endeavors to create compelling and original screenplays for both feature films and series. The agency is committed to nurturing its employees' growth, emphasising a culture where talent flourishes unrestricted by hierarchy or seniority, the agency further said in a statement.
