Rediffusion appoints Rishu Verma as head of Konjo
 
Rediffusion has appointed Rishu Verma as senior vice president and CEO of Konjo, a new vertical dedicated to supporting startups with strategic brand and business growth solutions. Based in Mumbai, he will manage some of Rediffusion’s existing client portfolios while leading Konjo’s initiatives to aid Indian startups aiming to expand. His responsibilities include driving business development, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency across his assigned accounts.
 
With nearly 20 years in advertising and marketing, Verma brings extensive experience from roles at agencies like Ogilvy, JWT, and Leo Burnett, along with in-house expertise from his time with Tata Motors. Previously, he served as an integrated client partner at dentsu Malaysia, managing major accounts for brands like Toyota and Telekom Malaysia. His return to Rediffusion is anticipated to strengthen both the agency’s established and emerging ventures, drawing on his diverse, cross-category experience in the sector.

Sarvesh Shashi launches ABC Studios

Sarvesh Shashi has launched ABC Studios, a full-service entertainment company aimed at connecting the North and South Indian entertainment industries. The company focuses on artist management, brand partnerships, and content creation, offering an integrated platform for these services.

ABC Studios seeks to become a one-stop solution for talent in the South of India, promoting collaboration between artists and brands. The studio has collaborated with notable celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Tamannah Bhatia, and Vijay Sethupathy, on various brand campaigns and partnerships.

KlugKlug hires Shuchi Sethi as India country manager

KlugKlug has appointed Shuchi Sethi as country manager for India. With over ten years of experience in influencer marketing, Sethi will oversee the company’s expansion and revenue efforts across North, West, and South India. She previously held leadership roles at Fork Media and Anymind Asia Group, contributing to business development and client growth.

Sethi's experience includes partnerships with over 200 brands, providing her with insight into influencer dynamics. In her new role, she will focus on promoting data-driven solutions for influencer marketing, addressing the demand for clarity and return on investment in brand engagements.

KlugKlug has a growing portfolio with over 200 clients and aims to expand its presence in India as well as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australasia within the next 12 to 18 months. The company is planning to establish operations in countries including Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

Actimedia PR joins global travel network, TLN

Actimedia PR & Digital has joined the Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN), expanding its reach in the global travel and hospitality market. The TLN comprises 25 independent agencies across 37 markets, allowing Actimedia to connect Indian clients with international opportunities. India’s outbound travel is projected to grow significantly, with over 80 million travellers expected by 2040.

Actimedia aims to leverage TLN’s global network to enhance service offerings for its clients in travel, lifestyle, and tourism. The partnership is expected to facilitate market exploration for Indian clients and strengthen TLN’s presence in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer markets.

Dish TV, C21Media to launch Content India 2025 show

Dish TV India will launch Content India 2025 market and conference in collaboration with C21Media, marking the first global Content franchise in India. The three-day show will be held in Mumbai to connect content creators and industry experts worldwide. An invite-only Content India Summit will precede the main event from April 1 to 3, 2025, focusing on the mission and objectives for the inaugural conference in April 2026.

Content India will replicate the format of C21Media’s international events, featuring a marketplace, conferences, and networking opportunities for creators, producers, distributors, platforms, and channels. The initiative aims to address distribution challenges in India's entertainment industry while providing a platform for high-quality content to reach global audiences.

Dish TV plans to enhance this effort by leveraging its DTH and OTT aggregation services through Watcho. The collaboration seeks to connect Indian creators with international opportunities and elevate the visibility of Indian content on the global stage. Content India aims to reshape the landscape of content creation and distribution in India.
