Nikon DSLR encourages enthusiasts to capture the perfect picture, a la Priyanka Chopra

Watch the ad film conceptualised by K&L Arms Communication

Nikon has launched a TV campaign for its DSLR cameras on the theme ‘My World, My Nikon’, its first ever for the range. The ad film has been conceptualised by K&L Arms Communication.

The film features brand ambassador Priyanka Chopra going to great lengths to capture a perfect picture. She climbs along a rocky path to reach a high vantage point by the sea before sunrise. As the first rays of the sun shine through, she is ready to click. The story is told in her voice: “When it comes to my D5300, there are no shortcuts to a perfect shot. And when it comes to my inspiration, I give angles to action.” As she says this and goes about her shoot, some of the product attributes come through.

Sajjan Kumar, VP - Imaging, Nikon India, said, “The new TVC resonates with Nikon’s spirit of ‘never settling for anything less than perfect’. It is for the first time that Nikon has shot a DSLR TVC with Priyanka Chopra sharing her enthusiasm and passion for photography with consumers.”

A Nikon statement explained that the brand has earmarked a marketing spend of Rs 120 crore in FY 2014-‘15. The TV commercial will be supported by online, print, in-store and OOH legs.
