Santa assigns Swiggy Genie to deliver gifts and is #OpenToWork

Watch the film conceptualised by Dentsu Webchutney here

Swiggy Genie has launched a campaign #SantaOpenToWork, featuring Santa Claus, who decides to opt-out of his gift-delivering duties in the pursuit of another career.

Conceptualised by Dentsu Webchutney, the film aims to depict how gift-givers can outsource all their delivery tasks to Swiggy Genie this festive season.

The film features Santa detailing his skills through a video resume to convince recruiters to hire him. As the Santa in the film is onto a new career path, he assigns his gift delivering duties for this Christmas to Swiggy Genie.

The film also shows Swiggy and LinkedIn's partnership for the initiative.

Sneha John, director- marketing, Swiggy, said, "We wanted to remind Swiggy users and non-users alike that they can depend on Swiggy Genie to take care of gift deliveries and other chores this Christmas season. The campaign does just that, with some Christmas cheer and smart humour.”

Sanket Audhi, creative director, Dentsu Webchutney, added, “Our starting point was quite simple: If Swiggy Genie is taking over deliveries, what will Santa Claus do? But we knew we had a winner when we thought of crafting the entire campaign around the #OpenToWork feature, which has become an instantly recognisable mnemonic. I hope people have as much fun watching the campaign as we had creating it.”
