Meanwhile, companies have been sending in their entries, even though the closing date was 30 June, 2009. Due to a request from the print community, PrintWeek India has extended the entry deadline of the print industry’s premier awards by 18 days.

Jim James, publisher, PrintWeek India and director, Haymarket Media India said, "We have been running the PrintWeek Awards in the UK and in Germany for a number of years. Now that PrintWeek, which was launched last year in India, is established, it was a natural progression to take the opportunity to celebrate and reward the print industry and excellence in the print industry in India."

The awards will be presented for the industry at a ceremony during South Asia Ipex in Mumbai on 25 October 2009.

The deadline for entries is 18 July.
