24 hours with… Mansi Jain

Mansi Jain, senior vice president and general manager, Roposo, takes us through what a day in her life looks like

24 hours with… Mansi Jain

Name: Mansi Jain

Job: Senior vice president and general manager, Roposo

Professional mantra: 'Thinking big, being entrepreneurial', which inculcates a mindset of thinking differently, thinking bold and not shying away from the world of possibilities.

Personal mantra: Go with the flow, it will all connect in the end.

6am: My mornings usually begin around 6 am. I have a toddler who is our family's morning alarm.

6-8am: 6 to 8 am are dedicated to playing with my son and my yoga class, starting the day on a happy and relaxing note.

9am: I'm in office by 9am. Fortunately, I live close to the office and get to avoid the Bengaluru traffic. The following hour is my time to prepare for the day, handle emails, prioritise tasks, and address action items, setting the stage for a productive day at work.

10am: Our team kicks off the day with a morning huddle, bringing together cross-functional teams to align on focus areas, unblocking crucial items, and fostering collaboration which helps in effectively breaking down silos. The first half of the day is typically occupied with multiple meetings, encompassing reviews and decision-making for the business.

3pm: I look forward to the post-lunch 'chai catch-ups' with my colleagues, a cherished ritual that strengthens our connections. As the day progresses, the latter part is largely spent in brainstorming and problem-solving meetings with the team. Roposo being a shoppertainment platform, we delve in-depth into the user thinking and experiences, along with strategic white-boarding sessions.

5pm: I make it a point to be back at home by 6 pm to spend quality time with my son before his bedtime at 7 pm.

7pm: Post 7 pm, I typically allocate an hour to clear any emails, and messages, and attend to my to-do list.

8pm: I love going for a walk before ending my day. It's my meditative space where I can unwind and clear my mind.
