Bhaskar Group has appointed Namita Bawa as head, product development. She will be responsible for marketing, development and revenue enhancement of all products under the Bhaskar banner including Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar and Business Bhaskar. She will also be responsible for new product launches. In her new role, Bawa will be based out of Delhi.
Before joining Bhaskar, Bawa worked with the tobacco division of GPI for over five years. Prior to that, she was with McCann Erickson, where she worked for brands like Perfetti, Nestle, Motorola, Hindustan Times, GPI and Panasonic.
Rajiv Jaitly, president – marketing and ad sales, Bhaskar Group, said, "Namita has a high level of experience in product marketing and will be able to use her expertise to manage and market Bhaskar Group publications."
