BIG FM promotes Tarun Katial to CEO

Tarun Katial (pictured) has been elevated from COO to chief executive officer of BIG FM. Katial who joined as one of the earliest team members in 2006, will now report to the board of directors of Reliance Media World Limited (BIG FM's listed name on the stock exchange).

Tarun Katial (pictured) has been elevated from COO to chief executive officer of BIG FM. Katial who joined as one of the earliest team members in 2006, will now report to the board of directors of Reliance Media World Limited (BIG FM's listed name on the stock exchange).

Alongwith his responsibility for the radio business, Katial now is also in charge of strategic business units of of BIG Live, BIG Reach, BIG Street and BIG Events.

On his elevation, Katial said, "Reliance ADA Group has given me this opportunity to be a part of its media business and I will continue to endeavour to build a 360 degree platform to touch consumers lives and positively impact them."

In a related development, Ismail Dabhoya, senior VP (finance and commercial) has been elevated to chief financial officer (CFO). Dabhoya has been with Big 92.7 FM since its inception in 2006.
