Brand activation agency Candid Marketing has elevated Amrita Kumar as its CEO.

Kumar joined Candid in 2001 and has gone on to becoming a managing partner and a director on the board of the company.

Atul S Nath, founder and MD, Candid Marketing said, “With 2020 literally round the corner, it’s time for rededicating ourselves to our future. We’ve worked with some of the biggest brands for all these years, created so many fans along the way, world-class innovative activations that our competitors talk about, and won so so many awards that it became boring. It is now time to start a new chapter of growth with
Amrita at the helm. I wish her the best for the next 24 years of Candid’s history!”

Kumar added, “Over the past 18 years or so, brand activation and experiential marketing has grown from a “not sure we need it” to “what more can we do?” The power of activation and experiences in effectiveness for communicating a story to a person is undeniable. With technology and integration of digital, it has further found a multiplier which helps not only in creating and executing the most exciting ideas but amplification of the same. I have been privileged to be part of this journey through Candid and am so looking forward to the next couple of years where I see storytelling, data, technology and digital media push the boundaries not only in creativity, but also in accountability in terms of ROI in the business.”
