The 35-second, JWT-created film opens in a Pizza Hut restaurant with a teenage boy having dinner with his friends and placing an order for the new ‘Cheesy Bites Pizza’. To his surprise, his server turns out to be Lara Dutta. Dutta with her actions reiterates the ‘twist, pull, pop’ positioning of the new launch.

Anup Jain, director marketing, Yum! Restaurants India - Pizza said, “'Cheesy Bites' is a fun pizza and we wanted a fun campaign to promote it in India. The ad internationally has been a big hit so we decided to give it a ‘desi twist’ with Lara, who we believe brings a lot of energy, freshness and a fun element to the campaign. It is definitely going to be a commercial to remember.”

Added Arjun Mukherjee, VP and client services director, JWT Delhi, “The brief we got from Pizza Hut was to create buzz and excitement around ‘Cheesy Bites’, a fantastic new innovation in the world of pizzas. ‘Cheesy Bites Pizzas’ are a lot of fun since you can twist, pull and pop the bites and our TVC emphasizes this fact, focusing on the fun.”

The film has been directed by Kunal Kapoor and the production house is AdFilmvalas.
