His next destination is not known. Dentsu has not named the new leadership for the region yet.

"Rohit Ohri CEO Dentsu Asia Pacific (ex Japan) has resigned after four years at the company. He has made a great contribution and we thank him for that. New leadership of Dentsu brands in Asia Pacific will be announced in due course,” informed a Dentsu statement.

He was based in Delhi prior as executive chairman, Dentsu India and CEO, Asia Pacific (South). Ohri has been a part of Dentsu since June 2011.

Previously, he was with J Walter Thomson for 21 years, and moved out as senior vice president and managing partner of agency's Delhi office.
