Sachin Batra joins ZTE India as CMO
ZTE, a mobile handset player, has appointed Sachin Batra as its chief marketing office. 
 
Batra joined the company in August  2016. This is the first time the company has hired a CMO. His mandate will include both sales and marketing. 
 
ZTE is a brand of Chinese origins that was launched in India in 1999. It operates in the price band of Rs 4,000 to Rs 40,000.
 
Batra said, “This is a very exciting time to be a part of the ZTE story in India. I am inspired by the company’s strong legacy and core values. ZTE is at a unique intersection of evolving customer needs and emerging innovative technologies. I am looking forward to bringing my experience and know-how to build on the excellent work that has been done by the company in India so far and continue the momentum towards greater heights of growth in the future. Our aim would be to identify new business opportunities and delivery unparalleled customer experiences.”
 
Batra was previously with Swipe Telecom. He has also worked with Brightpoint India, RPG Group, HT Media, Sify, Travel O Wide.com, Zenith Computer and Ameteep Machine Tools.
