Updated: IPL advertisers hit the jackpot on final

The figures are just out: the finals of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings delivered an astonishing 9.81 TRPs (CS 4+, All India, TAM).While the All India numbers averaged a healthy 9.81, there were as many as 12 distinct markets that delivered over 10 TVRs.Delhi delivered 10, Hyderabad 10.2, Rajasthan 1 m+ delivered 10.4, Madhya Pradesh 0.1 m to 1 m 10.9, Rest of Tamil Nadu 1 m+ delivered 10.95, Kolkata 11.6.

While the All India numbers averaged a healthy 9.81, there were as many as 12 distinct markets that delivered over 10 TVRs.

Delhi delivered 10, Hyderabad 10.2, Rajasthan 1 m+ delivered 10.4, Madhya Pradesh 0.1 m to 1 m 10.9, Rest of Tamil Nadu 1 m+ delivered 10.95, Kolkata 11.6.

From this point the deliveries begin to stun: Gujarat 0.1 m+ delivered 12.3, Madhya Pradesh 1 m+ delivered 12.44, Chennai (not surprising, since they were in the final) 13, Gujarat 0.1m to 1 m 13.8, Rest of Maharashtra 1 m+ 14.1, and Mumbai 14.9.

The average in the Hindi Speaking Markets was 10.7.
