Vodafone, Parle Agro, The Economist big winners at Abbys

Vodafone emerged the most awarded brand at Goafest 2010 with the Zoozoos sweeping a total of 15 metals in the Creative Abbys including two Grand Prixs, three Golds, four Silvers and six Bronzes. It also picked up two metals in the Media Abbys.

Vodafone emerged the most awarded brand at Goafest 2010 with the Zoozoos sweeping a total of 15 metals in the Creative Abbys including two Grand Prixs, three Golds, four Silvers and six Bronzes. It also picked up two metals in the Media Abbys.

While one of its Grand Prix and Gold came from the integrated category; one Gold, one Silver and three Bronzes were won in the film category. Straddling almost all the categories, Vodafone scooped a Silver each in design and direct; two Bronzes in Internet and digital category and one Grand prix, one Gold, one silver and one Bronze in the film craft category.

Its metals in the Media Abbys came in form of a Gold in ‘Best use of radio’ and a Silver in ‘Best use of TV’ categories.

Parle Agro, with its stable of fruit based drinks, also took home an enviable number of metals with Frooti, Saint Juice, Appy Fizz, Grappo Fizz and LMN together accounting for a total of 12 metals. While Frooti won both its Golds in the film craft category, Saint Juice bagged a Silver each in film and film craft, and a Bronze each in print, OOH, integrated and film craft categories. Both Appy Fizz and Grappo Fizz bagged a Bronze each in print while LMN picked a Silver in film category and a Bronze in film craft.

The Economist picked a total of six metals including a Gold in direct, a Silver each in print and integrated categories and three bronzes in the OOH category. While The Times of India scooped a Silver and a Bronze in film and film craft categories respectively, The Economic Times bagged two Silvers and a Bronze in direct as well as a Bronze in OOH category.

Pidilite’s brands, Fevicol and Fevikwik, took home a total of five metals comprising two Bronzes in film and three Silvers in film craft categories.

Tata Docomo picked up two metals in Creative Abbys as well as two metals in Media Abbys. While Tata Nano did not pick any Creative Abbys, it won three Golds and two Silvers in the Media Abbys. Its Golds came from ‘Best use of mixed media’; ‘Best use of radio’ and ‘Best use of newspaper and magazine’ category.

Srujan took home a Gold each in print and OOH category as well as a Silver in OOH. Ministry of Tourism bagged two Golds in direct and print craft respectively. Café Coffee Day also scooped a Gold and a Bronze each in the OOH category.
