Vikram Tanna joins Discovery, Karamjit Dua gets a new role
 
Discovery Networks has appointed Vikram Tanna as vice president, head of advertising sales and business head of regional clusters, South Asia. Tanna takes over from Karamjit Dua who has been appointed head of new business and mergers and acquisitions at the network.
 
Tanna is based in Mumbai and reports to Karan Bajaj, SVP and GM-South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific. He joins from Star India.
 
BBC Worldwide's Myleeta Aga gets an additional role  
 
Myleeta Aga, GM India, BBC Worldwide and Content Lead, Asia, has now been given the additional role of managing its South East Asia business, effective January 2017. She will report to BBC Worldwide Asia EVP David Weiland.
 
This elevation makes Aga additionally responsible for all of BBC Worldwide's SEA business, including driving Content, Format and Digital Sales. Along with that she will also oversee business development of the well-established channels and BBC Player services. Looking after BBC World News distribution interests in the SEA region will also come under her purview. She will work out of BBC's offices in Mumbai and Singapore.
 
MY FM launches in Nashik and Jalgaon
 
MY FM has announced the launch of channels in Nashik and Jalgaon. The channel is now available across seven cities in Maharashtra and plans to launch in Sholapur, Dhule and Akola in the next month. 
 
ITW Playworx bags Viega's PR mandate
 
Viega, a German based plumbing, drainage and flushing technology player has appointed ITW Playworx to handle its PR duties. The agency won the account following a multi-agency pitch. 
 
Integral PR re-brands itself
 
Integral PR has undergone a change in name and positioning as it turned 20 on 21 January 2017. The agency has re-branded to be called 'Integral' as it hopes to position itself as a multi-industry, integrated communications advisory firm.
