Here's what Kiran D’cruz, director - brand partnerships and licensing, Sony Music, had to say.

A surprising moment from 2018

2018 has been a year of storytelling on platforms like OTT and movies where consumers have been connecting with great stories, genres and music. Yesteryear heroes are making a comeback and experimenting with new roles and genres. Music plays a big part in this journey and some of the biggest hits for the year have been from off beat movies.

A prediction for 2019

2019 will bring to the forefront regional music, artists, and fans. There will be new collaborations between regional and mainstream artists resulting in new language trends exploding nationally.
